About Aya

Born in Kobe, Japan, Aya Kiyonaga is an internationally active violinist, with performances across Europe, America and Japan.

Aya has been featured in music festivals including IMS Prussia Cove, the Bartok Festival, Viola Space and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. As part of the Northern London Festival, she gave her London debut recital at the Bishopsgate Institute. As an avid and diverse chamber musician, Aya has performed with an eclectic range of collaborators, including members of the NHK Orchestra and as a musician at the Yellow Barn Music Festival. Recently, she was invited by Naples Conservatory of Music for her duo recital in Naples, Italy in 2018, and she has collaborated with a world-renown artist Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic for a live art performance in Los Angeles in 2019.
